General Questions

What is Chain Sentinel?

Chain Sentinel is an AI-powered system that detects rug pull scams on the Solana blockchain. Using advanced machine learning models (GNN and XGBoost), we analyze token behavior, wallet patterns, and network relationships to identify suspicious tokens with 96% accuracy.

How does it work?

Chain Sentinel uses three AI models:

  1. GNN v2 (96.06% accuracy) - Analyzes token-wallet relationship graphs
  2. XGBoost (95.59% accuracy) - Analyzes 24 engineered features
  3. River ARF (90.49% accuracy) - Self-learning model that adapts over time

When a new token is discovered, all three models analyze it and provide predictions with confidence scores.

Is it free to use?

Yes! Chain Sentinel offers a free tier with:

  • ✅ Full dashboard access
  • ✅ Unlimited token searches
  • ✅ 100 API requests per day
  • ✅ Basic alerts

Premium tiers (Pro and Enterprise) offer higher API limits and advanced features.

How accurate is the detection?

Our models achieve:

  • GNN v2: 96.06% accuracy
  • XGBoost: 95.59% accuracy
  • Combined: ~96% accuracy

However, no system is 100% accurate. Always do your own research before investing.

What blockchains are supported?

Currently, Chain Sentinel only supports Solana. We plan to add support for Ethereum, BSC, and other chains in the future.

Account & Authentication

How do I create an account?

You can sign up in two ways:

  1. Google OAuth (recommended) - One-click sign up with your Google account
  2. Email & Password - Traditional registration with email verification

Visit app.chainsentinel.net/register to get started.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

  1. Go to app.chainsentinel.net/login
  2. Click "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your inbox for reset link
  5. Follow the link to set a new password

Can I change my email address?

Yes! To change your email:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to ⚙️ Settings
  3. Navigate to Account tab
  4. Click "Change Email"
  5. Enter new email and verify

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to ⚙️ Settings
  3. Navigate to Account tab
  4. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  5. Click "Delete Account"
  6. Confirm deletion

Permanent Action

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be deleted.

API Questions

How do I get an API key?

  1. Log in to app.chainsentinel.net
  2. Navigate to 🔑 API Keys
  3. Click "Create New API Key"
  4. Enter a name and select tier
  5. Copy the key (shown only once!)

What are the API rate limits?

How do I increase my API limit?

Upgrade to a higher tier:

  1. Go to 💳 Subscription page
  2. Select Pro or Enterprise tier
  3. Complete payment
  4. Your limits are increased immediately

Can I use the API in production?

Yes! The API is production-ready and used by several projects. We recommend:

  • Using the Pro or Enterprise tier for production
  • Implementing proper error handling
  • Caching responses when possible
  • Monitoring your rate limits

What happens if I exceed my rate limit?

You'll receive a 429 Too Many Requests response. Your API key will continue working after the rate limit resets (daily reset at midnight UTC).

Token Analysis

How long does it take to analyze a token?

  • Existing tokens: Instant (already in database)
  • New tokens: 1-5 seconds (real-time analysis)

Why does a token show "Unknown"?

A token shows "Unknown" when:

  • It hasn't been analyzed yet
  • It's too new (< 1 hour old)
  • Insufficient data for prediction
  • Analysis failed due to errors

Can I request analysis of a specific token?

Yes! Use the 🔍 Search page:

  1. Enter the token address
  2. If not found, click "Request Analysis"
  3. Analysis will complete within 5 minutes
  4. You'll receive a notification when done

What does the confidence score mean?

The confidence score (0-100%) indicates how certain the AI model is about its prediction:

  • 90-100% - Very High (trust this prediction)
  • 75-89% - High (reliable prediction)
  • 60-74% - Medium (use caution)
  • <60% - Low (needs more data)

Why do different models give different predictions?

Each model analyzes different aspects:

  • GNN v2 - Focuses on network relationships
  • XGBoost - Focuses on token features
  • River ARF - Learns from historical patterns

When models disagree, it's a sign to be extra cautious and do manual research.

Wallet Analysis

How is wallet reputation calculated?

Wallet reputation (0-100) is based on 9 factors:

  1. Number of SCAM tokens created
  2. Number of LEGIT tokens created
  3. Total tokens created
  4. Average token confidence
  5. Known scammer status
  6. Wallet age
  7. Transaction patterns
  8. Holder behavior
  9. Network centrality

What is a "Known Scammer"?

A wallet flagged as a known scammer has:

  • Created multiple confirmed SCAM tokens
  • Been reported by the community
  • Exhibited suspicious patterns
  • Been manually verified by our team

Can I report a suspicious wallet?

Yes! To report a wallet:

  1. Go to the wallet's page
  2. Click "Report Wallet"
  3. Provide evidence (token addresses, transaction hashes)
  4. Submit the report

Our team will review and take action if confirmed.

Alerts & Notifications

How do I set up Telegram alerts?

  1. Open Telegram and search for @ChainSentinelBot
  2. Start a chat with /start
  3. Copy your Chat ID
  4. Go to 🚨 Alerts in Chain Sentinel
  5. Paste your Chat ID
  6. Configure alert rules
  7. Click "Save"

What types of alerts can I receive?

You can receive alerts for:

  • New SCAM token detections
  • Watchlist wallet activity
  • High-confidence predictions
  • Specific token updates
  • System notifications

Can I customize alert frequency?

Yes! Alert frequency options:

  • Instant - Immediate notification
  • Hourly - Digest every hour
  • Daily - Digest once per day
  • Weekly - Digest once per week

Why am I not receiving alerts?

Possible causes:

  • Alerts not configured properly
  • Chat ID incorrect (Telegram)
  • Webhook URL invalid (Discord/Slack)
  • Alert rules too restrictive
  • Notifications disabled in settings

Solutions:

  1. Verify your configuration in 🚨 Alerts
  2. Click "Test Alert" to verify
  3. Check spam folder (email alerts)
  4. Ensure bot is not blocked (Telegram)

Subscription & Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

  • USDC (Solana) - via Helio payment gateway
  • Credit Card - Coming soon
  • PayPal - Coming soon

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes! You can cancel anytime:

  1. Go to 💳 Subscription page
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Confirm cancellation

Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if:

  • Service is not working as described
  • You haven't used more than 10% of your API quota
  • You contact support with a valid reason

Can I upgrade/downgrade my plan?

Yes! You can change your plan anytime:

  • Upgrade - Takes effect immediately, prorated charge
  • Downgrade - Takes effect at next billing cycle

Technical Questions

What is the API response time?

Average response times:

  • Token lookup: <50ms
  • Token analysis: <200ms
  • Wallet analysis: <300ms
  • Network graph: <500ms

Is there a rate limit for the dashboard?

No, the web dashboard has no rate limits. Only API requests are rate-limited.

Can I self-host Chain Sentinel?

Chain Sentinel is not currently open-source for self-hosting. However, we offer:

  • Enterprise tier with dedicated infrastructure
  • Custom deployments for large organizations
  • White-label solutions (contact sales)

What data do you collect?

We collect:

  • Account information (email, name)
  • API usage statistics
  • Search queries (anonymized)
  • Alert preferences
  • Subscription details

We do NOT collect:

  • Private keys or wallet seeds
  • Transaction history
  • Personal financial data

The dashboard is not loading

Search is not returning results

Possible causes:

  • Token not in database
  • Filters too restrictive
  • Typo in search query

  1. Clear all filters
  2. Verify token address
  3. Try searching by symbol
  4. Request analysis if token is new
